Samantha Lê
WRITER-IN-RESIDENCE 2009-2010

Born in Vietnam, Samantha Lê immigrated to the United States in 1983. She received her B.S. in Advertising from San Jose State University and is currently working on her MFA in Creative Writing at San Jose State University. Lê’s publications include: My Solitude, a collection of spoken poetry and original music on CD; Corridors, a collection of poetry and short stories; and Little Sister Left Behind, a fictional memoir currently used as textbook at San Francisco State University, San Jose State University, University of California Berkeley and De Anza College. The editor of Powerful Whispers Breaking Barrier, an anthology of poems and short prose by McAteer High School student writers, Lê is also the owner and creative director of e33 design. Currently working on a new collection of poetry, Lê resides in San Jose, California.
